Service Description

A lactate-based fitness test (swim, bike, or run) is a performance assessment that measures how your body responds to increasing intensity by analysing blood lactate levels at set intervals. During the session, you complete progressive stages specific to your sport—whether in the pool, on the bike, or on the track/treadmill—while small fingertip samples are taken to track lactate accumulation. This testing method accurately identifies your personal training zones, including true aerobic (Zone 2) and threshold levels, giving you precise insight into your current fitness, metabolic efficiency, and endurance capacity. With results interpreted and explained in-depth, you'll walk away with a tailored training prescription designed to optimise your sessions, improve performance, and ensure you're training at the right intensity to achieve your goals.
