This training block focuses on developing technical efficiency and aerobic endurance — the two cornerstones of strong, sustainable triathlon performance. The goal is to refine your movement quality on the bike while steadily building the endurance engine that supports long, consistent efforts across all disciplines. Each session is designed to improve posture, pedalling technique, and control, helping you maintain smooth, efficient form even as fatigue builds. Efforts remain below threshold, allowing time to focus on technique cues — such as relaxed shoulders, stable hips, and fluid cadence — while strengthening your aerobic base. Workouts will include extended endurance rides, controlled tempo efforts, and technique-focused drills like cadence variations or single-leg pedalling. These are not about chasing peak power, but about embedding efficient mechanics and rhythm that transfer directly into real-world triathlon performance. By the end of this block, you’ll notice more consistent form, smoother power delivery, and greater endurance resilience. You’ll ride and run more efficiently, with improved control, composure, and the technical skill to hold strong, economical form deep into your race.
